H-I MiniBolter
It was a desire of ship designers to be able to outfit the navy with fighters able to decently handle any type of target, be it another fighter or a menacing cruiser. Even though, it was a long process involving much political red tape to get across the request of a small hull mounted torpedo system through the proper channels. But that never stops the ongoing rat race amongst our scientific community, and so with a few personal connections, word trickled down about this need and one group set to work immediately. Though it was not as simple as it may seem on paper. The design team had to spread out the weapon's profile considerably to prevent taxing the ship's power too greatly, and even at that, a ship can support no more than two installations. But the end product proved to be impressive and garnered immediate support among both ship construction agencies and fighter pilots alike.

- Hulls listed are the minimum hull size to mount/target. All weapons are mountable/targetable on/against any hull size larger than the base size. Targeting a larger hull size results in a damage penalty.
- Effective damage refers to the actual damage times the weapon's rate of fire. This is the total damage that you will do on average a turn, assuming every shot hits.
- Attack rating affects the chance you will hit the enemy ship.
- All data is given at the 3rd technology sublevel (x-3).
